UNA BELLA GIORNATA CON KIRBY E MAARIKA (28/8/2022) - (MH OK)

Anche se molti Riva e affini erano in vacanza è stata una gran bella giornata. Grazie a Titti e ai suoi per la squisita ospitalità (e per le ancor più squisite leccornie prodotte da Davide, che ci hanno ricordato le mitiche pastafrolle della nonna Mariuccia). Grazie a tutti gli intervenuti e soprattutto a Kirby e Maarika, così gentili e carini. Un grazie speciale a Suor Gloria che li ha accolti nel suo piccolo paradiso sanmarinese.

It’s good to know that one of the branches of the family tree grows up over the ocean and that our “distant” Canadian cousins are not actually so distant because whenever they can they take the plane and take the opportunity to come to visit us and at Christmas they send us pictures from their decorated homes to wish us MerryXmas. Speaking for myself, it is not obvious, indeed I find it fantastic!

Thanks for your affection and your warmth. In this time of chaos and various crises worldwide, it is a comforting sign!

Thanks to Kirby and Maarika for the nice afternoon spent together yesterday, good time in Italy and a big hug to all the other relatives in Canada! Let’s keep in touch!

E’ bello sapere che l’albero genealogico della propria famiglia ramifica anche al di là dell’oceano, e sentire che i nostri “lontani” cugini canadesi non sono poi così lontani perché ogni volta che possono prendono l’aereo e colgono l’occasione per venire a trovarci e a Natale ci mandano le foto dalle loro case addobbate per farci gli auguri. Se posso dire la mia, non è scontato, anzi lo trovo fantastico! 

Grazie della vostra simpatia e del vostro calore. In questo momento di caos e crisi varie a livello mondiale è un segno confortante!

Grazie a Kirby e Maarika per il bel pomeriggio passato insieme ieri, buona permanenza in Italia e un grande abbraccio a tutti gli altri parenti in Canada! Teniamoci in contatto!
